The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) was conceived by the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) in collaboration with global development partners to address the major financing challenges facing Micro, Small and medium-scale enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria. Our objective is to alleviate financing constraints faced by MSMEs and small Corporations in Nigeria through the provision of financing and partial credit guarantees to eligible financial intermediaries on a market-conforming and fully financially sustainable basis.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Assist in facilitating the effective and efficient conclusion of Risk-Based audit reviews and reports to enable the department give assurance on the risks and the mitigating controls associated with the auditable units and processes of the Bank
• Identify financial & Credit risk of the organization and offer recommendations to reduce risk.
• Examine and evaluate the level of adequacy and effectiveness of the Bank’s system of internal controls in preventing and curbing fraud and other malpractices
• Implement annual audit plan, including special tasks or projects assigned by Head Internal Audit & Team Lead.
• Participate in Risk Assessment of the auditable units to align the audit review with the identified risks inherent in the business
• Planning and execution of Kick-Off Meetings, Audit Planning Meeting and Exit Meetings
• Making input in the preparation of the detailed Risk-based Audit Plan for each audit assignment
• Make presentations on audit findings and follow up on Gaps Identified.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant ( ACA)
• Experience in Data Analytics is an advantage.
• Financial Analysis.
• Good Report Writing and Presentation skills.

Activities
The Project Manager will have the following activities:

• In charge of documentation management following company requirements
• Work in line with Group Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements
• Liaise with technical services for technical specifications use and continuous improvement and with remote engineering support when applicable.

Profile

• Graduate from a premier university with a Degree in Engineering. Graduate Degree and/or related professional qualifications considered a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of projects management experience on solar projects.
• Knowledge of project management good practices, engineering, and solar specific software such MS Project, AutoCAD, PVSyst, Meteonorm, SolarGIS, Helioscope, Sketchup, etc.
• Experience with maintaining minimum functional specification, commissioning checklists, and standard operating practices for rooftop solar projects.
• Working experience of the Nigeria context in electrical norms, renewable energy regulations, construction codes, is appreciated.
